Travel of up to 30 miles round trip is charged at £15, any additional miles are charged at 45p per mile.
Our quotation is based on the minimum number of guests given. Should there be any reduction in numbers or change to the menu selections, timings or significant increase in the cost of raw ingredients, we reserve the right to increase prices or apply a service charge. Final numbers of guests are to be supplied to us not later than 14 days before the function date. This will be the minimum number charged to the final account. A non-refundable booking deposit of 25% is payable to secure the date of your function. The quotation balance (less the deposit) is to be paid 14 days before the function date. A final invoice will be issued after the function if there are any additional items or alterations
Minimum numbers must not be less than 85% of the original number at the time of booking, a surcharge will be made for numbers lower than 85%.
The balance of the account is payable 14 days before the event.
Greenway Catering accepts no responsibility for any damage caused to clients property, adequate accidental damage cover should be obtained.
Greenway Catering accepts no responsibility for any injuries caused by non-disclosure of allergies or special dietary needs.
The customer is responsible for all equipment hired, from the time of delivery to the venue until it has been returned & checked. All lost or damaged equipment will be charged at cost.
We do not provide table linens. These can be obtained privately or we can hire them on your behalf.
Greenway Catering accepts no responsibility for wines or drinks left at our premises for storage or chilling. Any items will not be covered under our insurance policy.
Please note that the hire charge for any coffee or tea crockery is in addition to all other place setting hire & is only added to menus, which do not already include tea or coffee
Greenway Catering accepts no responsibility for special celebration cakes including wedding cake left at our premises for delivery.
Due to hygiene policy and public insurance liability restrictions we are unable to leave food items following an event or to serve any food items not prepared or supplied by ourselves, excluding wedding cakes, however we do reserve the right not to serve any such cakes which we feel would be a risk to health. Please note that a collection charge will be applied for the collection of all hire items, which require collection from your venue after the date of your event. It is the hirer's responsibility to ensure that all equipment is ready for collection at the required time as agreed with us prior to the end of your event. If you prefer for a member of staff to remain on site until the event has completed in order for all hire items to be removed from the venue on the date of your event, you will be charged for the extra staffing hours (the cost of which will be dependent on the particular staffing structure relevant for each event so will therefore be discussed prior to your function). If extra trips are required in order to collect missing items, then a further charge will become payable.
Greenway Catering shall not be liable for delay or incompleted contracts due to mechanical breakdown of vehicles or equipment, road traffic accidents or adverse traffic conditions.
If canapes are selected, client accepts that this will incur an additional hour charged per chef and waiting staff team member supplied. This will cover the cost of service of the canapes as the price quoted is just for the food cost.
Barbecue, Finger Buffet and Wedding prices are quoted exclusive of all staff costs. These will be added on based on the group size and menu choices.
Many of our dishes contain dairy and nut products. On request Greenway Catering will inform the client of these ingredients; however as dairy and nut products are used in our kitchen we cannot guarantee that dishes will not contain traces of these products.
We will arrive approximately one hour before your event. This allows us time to prepare the kitchen and dining areas. Please ensure sufficient clean crockery, cutlery and glasses are available for our use. Please ensure that the dishwasher is empty and ready for our use and that the kitchen is clear and ready for us.
All cancellations must be confirmed in writing or by email.
You undertake to provide adequate kitchen space and tabling for food preparation (including table linen for any food or drink service tables). For a marquee function, we would normally require a service tent of 20' x 10' depending on number of guests and type of event. Our quotation does not include the erection and layout of tables and chairs, nor the covering of same.
You undertake to provide a good, clean water supply (into the kitchen area), and adequate electric power (typically a 30kva generator for a hot, sit down meal).
Any items hired on your behalf (eg. Table linen, glassware) are the responsibility of the client. This includes clearing and packing away of same at the end of the event (also damage/breakages/loss) ready for collection by the hire company, usually the next working day. Greenway Catering can undertake this for you, at an additional charge. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, cheque or in cash.
No reduction in price will be given for any food provided at the clients request that is subsequently not consumed.
Please note all costs include insurances & fees where applicable.
Whilst Greenway Catering maintains statutory insurance cover, it accepts no responsibility for any loss, injury, damage or breakage caused by any of its staff. No responsibility can be accepted for the injury caused by the use of equipment hired.
